Rock Hill, South Carolina Food Truck Fridays !

This video consists of all the action that took place at Food Truck Fridays. It includes music, food, and laughter. This is only a taste of what Food Truck Fridays bring to Rock Hill

On Friday, March 3rd, York County City of Rock Hill, South Carlina returned with its Annual Food Truck Fridays. Food Truck Fridays consist of vendors, live music, games and most importantly food trucks. This event is free admission to the public. This series of events was created by the Rock Hill Community Relations Council who sought out to bridge the gap between within the community and bring everyone together no matter what race, gender, or sexual orientation. This event shows how much of a community and the unity it brings to the residents of Rock Hill.

Shekinah Miller who is the President and Chair of the Rock Hill Community Relations Council stated that “This is a time where everybody comes out, has fun, and enjoys themselves. It is also a lot of behind the scenes work to get these events going every single time and that is why I am glad we have dedicated volunteers to assist with these events and future events to come”.

Also, Martin Lane, Project Specialist with Rock Hill’s Parks, Rec and Tourism Department stated that “this is a way to get people out again, see each other and be safe. Also to drive economic development and to see what great things we have instored for the City of Rock Hill”.

In addition to Food Truck Fridays, the City of Rock Hill has laid down rules for residents and guests who will be attending these series of events. No throwing/kicking balls, no coolers, no outside alcohol, keep your pets on tightly controlled three feet leashes and no bicycles in the park.
