Isaac Smith is an aspiring multimedia journalist located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Isaac is a former Winthrop University news reporter and anchor of the “Winthrop Close Up News Show”, which broadcasted from a in-studio biweekly inside of Johnson Hall on Winthrop’s campus and can be viewed on Youtube. Smith joined the Close-Up show in Fall 2020 and can be seen anchoring on “Winthrop Close Up Show 3 Fall 2020” and “Winthrop Close Up Best Of Fall 2020”. Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in broadcast journalism. After Smith graduated from Winthrop, he is currently furthering his career and education into multimedia journalism by attending Full Sail University for their Master of Arts in New Media Journalism Program. After he achieves his Master's Smith is on a mission to further his education in obtaining a Ph.D in Communications where his end goal is to be involved in all things media communication. Smith has a passion for storytelling and creating content that is vital for the world to see. Smith is currently open to any internship and or volunteer opportunities that will further his passion within the communication field.
